This fall migrant hit our window at Parker Ranch on October 1 and didn't make it. I have also seen a live catbird passing through Oasis Valley in May.

According to Atlas of Breeding Birds of Nevada (edited by Ted Floyd and others, University of Nevada Press, Reno, 2007), Gray catbirds are suspected to be rare breeders in Nevada, possibly in the northeast part of the state and in the Toiyabe Range (which is only about 3 hours north of Oasis Valley by highway). But more searching needs to be done.
